Perseverance is sometimes the overlooked key to many problems. In an age of instant gratification the idea of staying with a project until you get a desired outcome sounds archaic, out of tune with modern thinking. But is it really?

1. Perseverance is a learned trait.

This is something which I became aware being a motivational speaker appearing before various groups. They all have their set guidelines and you have to adjust to make it work for them. But nobody was born with patience, it is something to foster in yourself until it becomes a distinctive part of you. When you can be your own motivational speaker, encouraging yourself to stick with it no matter what the situation, you are definitely on the right track.

2. Winners try harder until they succeed.

Like the motivational speaker, winners give it their all every time. They leave nothing on the field, to use a sports metaphor. Perseverance becomes second nature to them.

3. We all can become winners, your level is determined by your perseverance.

The more you stick with it the greater the opportunity for you to achieve your life goals. You never know where the road will take you unless you have goals. Don’t be like a ship with no rudder, know with a razor-sharp focus where you’d like your personal ship to sail.

4. Be you own cheerleader/ your own personal motivational speaker.

Imagine yourself having a motivational speaker in your head, guiding you and urging you on to be perseverant on a daily basis. It’s been said what the mind can conceive, it can achieve. Let the positive talk wash over you and go with the flow.

Often times motivational speakers, such as myself and others, had to overcome hardships to continue to do what they has a passion for, career-wise. Want some good advice? Let perseverance help deliver the desired results you want !
